Hello guys, welcome back to my blog.      This time I will tell you about intercultural communication learning on May 25, 2021. So, at the 15th meeting in this course, We will continue the 8 elements of culture and business practices in the countries we have chosen.  This meeting is the last meeting before the final.test. I  will explain a little bit about the 2 countries that have been presented.        So, The first presenter was Ardila Pratiwi. She presented material about Myanmar. The presenter explained that t he population in Myanmar is quite diverse, and comes from various ethnicities. These ethnic groups include; Burma (Bamar), Karen, Kayah, Arakan (Rakhine), Mon, Kachin, and Rohingya. The government system of Myanmar adopts a Presidential government system. Kyat is the official currency of Myanmar. The majority of Myanmar people are Buddhist.      And the last presenter was Syamsul Maarif.  He presented material about South Africa. So, at the 14th meeting in this course, We will continue the 8 elements of culture and business practices in the countries we have chosen. I will explain a little bit about the 4 countries that have been presented.      So, The first presenter was Muhammad Adnan. He presented material about Jamaica. The presenter explained that English is the official language in Jamaica, but the language used as the national language is Jamaican Patois (Jamaican Patois). Jamaican Patois is a dialect of English influenced by the languages ​​of Western and Central African countries. Jamaica is a small island, internationally known for its music, and nowadays, for the prowess of its athletes.  According to the 2001 census, religion in Jamaica was 66% Christian. The presenter explained that Iceland is one of the Nordic countries, and Iceland is known for its nature as well as its many cultures and traditions. One of the most famous traditions from Iceland is Bolludagur. Icelandic society uses the Icelandic language or what is known as íslenska. Then, it was also explained that this country is the safest country in the world, this is because its people are very obedient to existing regulations. She presented material about Malaysia. The presenter explained that the majority of the population of Malaysia came from the Malay race, Chinese race, and Indian race. So, at the 11th meeting in this course, we will continue the 8 elements of culture and business practices in the countries we have chosen. I will explain a little bit about the 4 countries that have been presented.      Okay, The first presenter was Muh. Fadil, he presented material about Italy. Italy is a parliamentary republic. A parliamentary republic is a type of republic that operate under a parliamentary system of government. The economy in Italy is driven by a large party that makes high quality consumer goods produced by small and medium enterprises.The majority of these Italians are Christian, Italian (Italiano) is the official language in Italy. ~ Business Practice in Italy Italians are very lax about time-keeping Being invited to a business lunch or dinner often indicates that the business relation has reached a higher grade of familiarity

So, at the 10th meeting in this course, we will continue the 8 elements of culture and business practices in the countries we have chosen. The Philippines has a democratic government in the form of a constitutional republic with a presidential system.
