10th Activity Intercultural Communication~
Hello guys, welcome back to my blog.
This time I will tell you about intercultural communication learning on May 4, 2021. So, at the 12th meeting in this course, We will continue the 8 elements of culture and business practices in the countries we have chosen. I will explain a little bit about the 4 countries that have been presented.
The first presenter was Nur Rezky. She presented material about Malaysia. The presenter explained that the majority of the population of Malaysia came from the Malay race, Chinese race, and Indian race. Then, Malaysia's Economy is the 3rd largest in Southeast Asia and 29th in the world by GDP. The population of Malaysia is Muslim. The livelihoods of the Malaysian population are agriculture, forestry and mining. The ringgit is the official currency used in Malaysia.
The second presenter was Nurhaida. She presented material about Australia. The presenter explained that the government in Australia uses the legislative, executive and judicial systems. The economy in Australia comes from mining, finance and tourism. The language spoken in Australia is English, which has become the daily language of the Australian people.
The third presenter was Alfina Mutya. She presented material about Germany. The presenter explained that the government in Germany is a federal parliamentary republic. President as head of state and chancellor as head of government. The currency of Germany is Euro. The majority of Germany's population is Christian, and the language spoken in this country is standard German.
The last presenter in this meeting was Ismubaraqah. She presented material about Saudi Arabia. The presenter explained that Saudi Arabia is divided into three ethnic groups namely: Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Indians. And divided into three groups based on hereditary status, namely: Qabila, Khadira, and Ashraf. Then, In Saudi Arabia, women are not allowed to drive, work freely, or leave the house without a mahram. In Saudi Arabian culture, it is common for a man to never know or even just see the face of his friend's wife or daughter, even though they have been friends for a long time and often visit each other. But the ban imposed in Saudi Arabia is something that has been determined by the government and can be done.
